S.Kreivaitis has learned painting in Kaunas J.Naujaļa secondary school of Art and graduated the Department of metal art in the Tallin institute of art. In the works of the artist born and grown in Lithuania there is feelable link to the native country- his art are particularly painting, retains it’s lithuabian like nature – grostesqe, colorfulness, definiteness of images and deformations that are close for national art of Lithuania.

In his works of art, turned as well to the studies of art of Egypt, Latinamerica as well Africa nations, the references of which are noticable in his art. Important position in the works of S.Kreivatis in it’s heyday took the miths of ancient Greece. Primodal images and motives influenced by the myth have a huge significance- his works are to be cereatorised as comical replicas, subjective mythology, there are encountered even grotesquely crengy, however joyfull characters. Artist tackles both themes seems of Holy Supper and progress and evolution, however does not dive in banality admiring pleasure regarding his witness.

As an impulss for far formal language there serves already mentioned national art, that is grown up by an individual asthetic and manner of performance of the artist.
